While the Fam is Away, the Mommy will....

WORK.

So, I sent Sugar to diabetes camp last weekend.

Then I walked back to the car alone, because the rest of the family was already on a bus, headed to the North Pole!

Courtesy of the the Phoenix Coyotes and the Starlight Foundation, Mr. Rose and our two younger littles were treated to a Polar Express trip on the Grand Canyon Railway!

IT WAS SNOWING UP THERE!

They had a fantastic time, and came home over the moon with excitement about meeting the "REAL SANTA".

I had to work.  In the end, however, one of us would have needed to stay behind to drop Sugar off anyway.  Her bus left almost 3 hours after the the Polar Express departure.   Not to mention that we have a very sweet pooch named Ivy who would have gotten lonely.

It's all good.

The family had an awesome weekend!

Can't really ask for more than that :)
