OH THOSE BUTTONS!

My name is Wendy, and I have a problem.

I love Blog Buttons.

LOVE THEM!!!!

In fact, if I could pick them up and put them in my pocket, I'd start collecting them.
I'd store them in a (Gluten Free) cookie jar all decorated with snazzy candy hearts!
Mr. Rose would go crazy, because there would always be random buttons
scattered around, just so I could admire them all day :)

I KNOW!!!!!  I need an intervention.

I have been obsessing about what to do
with my button collection since starting my new blog.

OB.SESS.ING, I TELL YA!

I think it even contributed to my Writer's Block a couple weeks ago.

I just couldn't think about anything else, except where and how to display my cookie jar filled with buttons from all the blogs I love.

And, to be honest, I still haven't come up with the PERFECT solution.

But I've come up with a good alternative for now....

**AND YOU DON'T EVEN NEED TO HAVE A BUTTON TO PARTICIPATE!**
(Seriously, that's the only reason I'm sold on this solution)

If you have a **DIABETES BLOG** , go HERE to enter your URL and upload a thumbnail.

If you have a **CELIAC BLOG**, go HERE to enter your URL and upload a thumbnail.

If you have a **FRIEND/FAMILY/MOMMY/OTHER BLOG**, go HERE to enter your URL and upload a thumbnail.

It'll have to do for now.

Thanks for supporting my intervention....

Now please pass the cookie jar!

  3. Oh wendy - Help me! I have the blog button on my blog, but cannot figure how to get it into the site you say. I clicked on 'Here' then entered my site address, but my image is too large? It is WAY beyond the size of the frame and doesn't look good. Did I tell you I am technology-challenged? I am. Can you help me? I would love to give you a blog button hon!

  4. NEVER FEAR, my Bloggy pals :)

FeltFinland....I didn't make my button. I paid $10 via PayPal for someone else to make it!! There are some free tutorials out there, and I think they're actually very easy to make yourself, but I just haven't tried it yet. I used Dotty Dot Dot and she had it done within 24 hours. I think there are quite a few people you can pay to make one, but here's her link:

Kerry....Blog Buttons are those cute little boxes on my side tab. Different images to represent various blogs. I like them because they're all unique - no two are the same. The give the blog author an opportunity to express themselves in a cute little uniform picture. I think of them as my little collection of baseball cards.

Penny...GIRL, I AM SO NOT A TECH GIRL! You can upload any image to represent your thumbnail -- this is why it's not a perfect answer for my obsession right now. In a perfect world, I would have figured out a way to just have people paste their HTML button codes and that would be that. This is as close as I could find...
