Another Give Away -- The Holiday Weekend SUGAR BOLUS!

**THIS CONTEST IS CLOSED**

This week's SUGAR BOLUS offers TWO prizes
for ONE lucky Candy Hearts Reader!
And guess what else?
ANYONE can use this stuff!
Better get yourself entered and share it with your friends today!

Sugar needs a new medical ID bracelet.
I have one in mind that I'd like to order for her,
but I'm still procrastinating in that department.

You see, I'm hung up on the engraving.
I need to include both Type 1 Diabetes AND Celiac AND the fact that she wears an Insulin pump AND requires a gluten free diet AND then there's still the need to include some basic contact information.

....sigh....

That's alot of engraving.
It add$ up.
So much info to fit into one cute little bracelet, yet it must remain easy enough to read so as not to defeat the purpose wearing a medical ID in the first place.

Round and round and round I go....where I stop, nobody knows....

And then Steph, from Tig Tagz Personalized Wristbands for Kids, contacted me with a solution I was very pleased to try!

They're tear proof, water resistant, and disposable!

And, by the way, you don't need to have a medical condition
for these babies to come in handy!

TigTagz would be perfect for a large gathering to keep track of all the kids.

Or, perhaps, a way to keep your contact information and/or child's allergy information easily accessible when they're with a babysitter, at a playdate,
or otherwise not in your care!

TigTagz is offering one Candy Hearts reader a set of their very own to personalize however they choose!

Next up, I'd like to introduce you to Tallygear's Tummietote.
I first heard of the Tummietote after Reyna of Beta Buddies blogged rave reviews, followed by songs of praise from Laura over at Houston We Have A Problem.
So imagine my excitement when Donna, the Tummietote creator herself
contacted me to see if Candy Hearts would like to give one a try.

WELL OF COURSE!!!!

We ordered one with the see through panel -- I love it!
It's nice to make pump setting changes
without actually pulling the pump out of it's pack.
(On a side note, that's a pretty SAWEET Candy Hearts pattern, don't you think?)

We also ordered this little cutie so I could show you both styles.

Along the front panel, there are three secure expandable pockets.  In addition to her pump, we could easily stow some other diabetes gear, such as a CGM reciever, her meter, strips, clicker, and something portable to treat low blood sugars.

BUT WAIT!  There's more....

Check out the matching headbands!
A girl need to accessorize, you know!

Tallygear is generously offering one lucky Candy Hearts reader
any Tummietote pattern/size of their choice!

I was going to end it here, but....
There's just one more thing I wanted to mention.

I've been going to the gym EVERY morning after dropping Sugar off at school.

Thanks for the encouragement...but it gets a little complicated.

The problem is that I need to have my phone on me AT ALL TIMES.
Then there's the keys and the childcare wristbands...blah, blah, blah...
The only solution I've been able to come up with is to carry my purse with me
from one machine to the next.

I could get a locker -- but I NEED my phone WITH me.
I don't have the luxury of putting it away for an hour.
I must be accessible to the school every minute that Sugar is not in my care.

After seeing how versatile the Tummietote can be, I decided to try one for myself!
PURSE DILEMMA SOLVED!
Come on....
You have to give a mom credit for putting her waistline out there
for all of Blogville to see.

Now read the rules and get yourself entered!
It'll make me feel better.
